MD160 sound

I have read that this model has problems with motors noise but im not sure is this normal what my camera records or is it too noisy :\ ?

The first part (without the tape I assume) sounds normal. The second part, that's not good. It shouldn't be that noisy.

Do bear in mind that the camera's "Auto Level Gain Control" will pump up the volume when it's recording quiet / "silent" things and turn down the recording volume when you're filming loud bands and carnivals... So it would probably be a bit more realistic to test e.g. someone speaking to the camera, a couple of metres in front of the cam, indoors - and you shouldn't really hear any intrusive camera noise in those sorts of conditions (it might be reasonable to accept you'd hear a bit of motor noise). But no, your clip there doesn't seem to sound good...

ok, thanks.

but camcorder itself makes more noise than my old g1000 (8mm), i tho that new cameras have better and quieter motors
