Hi,
This is my first post on the forum. I have just bought the Sony DCR 32E and I am completely new to camcorders and a bit of a technophobe. The camcorder came with a software CD that has a browser that stays on the desktop and houses the videos that get transfered over to the pc. All very well and good if all I need to do is go into the browser and enjoy watching the videos from there.
When I transfer the videos from the browser to a normal folder in my documents I lose all the audio. Also, I cannot upload the videos to a video hosting site such as photobucket because it doesn't support MPEG2. My pc is running on XP and I am probably running an old version of windows media player too. How can I get the audio to appear so that I can move the videos about to where I want them? Do I need to go out and buy extra software, or is there something I can download for free?
I did a search before posting this but as I said, I really am a novice to any techy talk so please forgive me
