Hello to you all.
I currently have a Canon MV530i... which is ok, but I would like something smaller, lighter for around £400.00. I have been looking at the Sony SR72 is it any good? Is there anything better for the money, with a reasonable zoom and light and small for portability and reasonably simple to use. Also.... is this any better than what I currently have apart from size wise?

Quality wise, no, the SR72 won't be better than your MV530i. If anything it won't be as good.

Panasonic H250 is a good HDD cam in your price range; it's better than the SR72; probably even a bit better than your old Canon.
