Nisis Pocket DV2 Digital Video Camera

Do you have one of these (Nisis Pocket DV2 Digital Video Camera ) ?

I know it has a/v out but does it have a/v in ?

Anyone tried to send a signal to it and can it be seen on the LCD screen ?

PC World magazine review this glorified webcam in this months magazine.

Don't let DV2 fool you, it's hardly a proper DV camcorder... it's a very basic digital stills camera that can capture very short film clips. It comes with 8mb ram built in which should allow a minute or two of video at 320x240 resolution (not much use other than for email / web video clips)

You can plug in more CF memory cards to increase record time and still image storage.

The review I read isn't very good.... despite the heavy web promotion of this little thing, I personally wouldn't think it's much more than a cheap digital still camera with a limited live clip record feature.

Certainly seems no sign of an AV input.....

some reviews of it hereat Amazon

Don't let the quoted 128Mbits of memory.. it's got 8MBYTES of memory!

If it had A/V, in I could have used it as a monitor with my portable VCD player (great fun during lunch breaks) instead of a pocket colour TV.

A pocket TV with A/V in cost only a bit less than this DV2 cam.

Shame it 'aint got A/V in.
