Sony Vegas Platinum 6 & Vista Compatibilty

Hi,

I have used Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6 on my old PC with no problems. I have now upgraded to a new PC with Vista, installed Sony Vegas, but had a few problems creating the DVD or sending to DVD Architect Studio (3).

The only way to make a DVD is to complete the project and send it to Windows Movie Maker.

Is it a case the Vegas 6 is not completely compatibile with Vista, or should I try to re-install?

I note that Sony Vegas 8 is now out, so presume it is Vista compatible.

Cheers for any help

Re: Sony Vegas Platinum 6 & Vista Compatibilty

I can vouch that 6 and 7 DO NOT WORK 100% with Windows Vista.

I have upgraded to 8 and it does indeed work.

Re: Sony Vegas Platinum 6 & Vista Compatibilty

I have Sony Vegas Platinum 8 installed on Vista 64bit and it the most stable video editing software I have ever used.
