Calling redsox mark and co - it's just possible you could save my life......

Urgent - need a camcorder less than £200 to order this weekend so here for xmas. Have had to return my HC94 to ebuyer and it has been discontinued so cannot buy elsewhere.

I can't see a review section on this site - can anyone help ?

Will be eternally grateful

Re: Calling redsox mark and co - it's just possible you could save my life......

Have almost decided on the Canon MD160 just deciding where to order from online as hardly any stores stock it.

Is the MD160 significantly better than the MD101 as that is a little cheaper and some high street stores have that in stock ?

Thanks

In terms of video quality there isn't much difference between the MD101 and the MD160. The main difference is the MD160 has a SD memory card for stills, whilst the MD101 has an external mic input. The MD101 is the better value, unless you need the stills function.

I ordered the 160 yesterday afternoon as I heard the 101 had some issues with the motor being quite loud.
