Mini DV Camera

Hi,

I looking to buy a Mini DV camera. DCR-PC8 look like the best option so far, but can't help getting tempted by the pc120...

Is there a big difference in 800k pixcel and 1.2 mega pixcel CCD? Is it noticable to the human eye? I intend on put all captured fotage on VCD... (or maybe dvd in the future.)

It would be handy to have the camera mid feb but not estential. I could get away with my VHSC camera as I have now bought a cature card. What do ppl think of the new range comming out from Sony. Any opinions on them? Personally I dont lke the idea of having all the menu's on the screen, but are all camera's going this way? And they are considerably cheaper on letsgodigital. Are Sony realising a new DCR-PC range?

Anyway, lots of question look forward to the feedback or any other advice.
