Hi all, you lot look like you know what you're talking about. so please answer me this.

My girlfriend asked me what i wanted for xmas and i gave her the usually reply, 'i don't know!'. So she told me what i'm getting! A camcorder! 'for use in the bedroom, wink, wink' she went on to say.

So...... without knowing anything about them or what i really want, could you guys give me some advice? Here's some things i'd like you to consider:

It will be mainly used in the bedroom but i'd occasionally like to take it outside, i have a PC so being able to transfer and watch on a PC is a bit of a must. I don't really want her spending a fortune on this gift (anything around £50 upto £250 would be enough)

Any, and i mean ANY advice would be very much appreciated as she's on at me every day to tell her which one i want!

In that price range a DV (tape) camcorder; suggest Panasonic GS230, or cheaper the Canon MD101.

Though if the shooting sessions are to last over an hour, you might want to stretch to a HDD model; they cost more and quality for the money isn't as good, but you don't have to stop to change the tape...
