Hi all - first post in this section of the forum.

My 3.5 yr old mv 730i DV camcorder has stopped showing any image through the view finder or screen when in record mode. However, it will still record pics and sound on to tape (even though you can't see what you're shooting) and will replay all material previously filmed.

Any techy chaps got any views what might be wrong, and whether this is home fixable/costs?
