Low light for sony V1??? Help

having read nearly every review possible i still cant deciede on the sony V1 or cannon Ax a1. When they say the cannon is better in low light how low is that??? is that at night, or is that dusk. I want to film weddings , do u suppose the average wedding is low light , the wedding dance perhaps, I just cant deciede , i love the slow mo feature on the sony and footage look great but the low light issue is bothering me , does anyone own these cameras to give me a final answer as which to get

Also is final cut pro going to work with these cameras????

i have a fx-7 which is the same as the v1 exept for there is no p recording and the v1 has other features the fx-7 does not.regarding low light i have not used the canon a1 but it has 3 1/3 inch ccds where as the sony has 3 1/2 inch cmos the general fealing is the canon has the edge in low light.i am sure the v1 would be fine as long as the light is not too low ,the canon is about 1/3 as heavy again compared to the sony, the sony is every bit as good in reasonable light and does not need as much adjusting [color options etc as the canon]ie from what i have heard it it easier to use,but the canon is a very good cmera.if you are planning wedding filming i would try them both.
