CCD resolution + A/D conversion + indoor sensitivity
Hi,
I already made a search to see if my questions were already answered and couldn't find anything conclusive, so here I am asking them and thanx in advance for your answers.
1) what is the minimum CCD resolution required to have very nice video quality [on TV and computer screen] ? and what is the maximum possible with a mini-DV format ?
BTW, I have a hard time understanding the resolutions given in horizontal lines...why not in pixels ? that seems a lot more precise, NO ?
2) Is there a cam which does the conversion A/D onto a mini-DV cassette ? [I saw this was not possible with a canon MV550I]
3) when I look at the Sony specifications, I see they have a sensitivity measure of at least xx [3.5/7] lux, however some other cams advertise 0 lux...does this mean that the sony cams won't do well indoors ??? [BTW, I have an old analog sony cam and i was a bit disappointed with indoor shootings !!!]
what is the minimum sensitivity required to have decent video quality indoors ?
thx ++
