Sony DCR-HC27 or Sony DCR-HC37

I am buying a camcorder for a present this christmas and i just seen these on the argos website are they any good and which one is the better one.
Sony Mini DV Handycam DCR-HC27 at £149
Sony Mini DV Handycam DCR-HC37 at £179
i would be grateful of any help.

Both are OK for the money (budget models). Quality wise they are the same; the HC37 has USB streaming function and a greater zoom (which you don't need, the zoom on the HC27 is enough). Unless you want to use it as a web cam I'd go for the 27.
