hitachi dz-hs301e what software's required?

Hi everyone
I have just bought a hitachi dz-hs301e camcorder from eBay.
Unfortunatley it didn't come with any software & the seller is not being too helpful. Can anyone tell me what editing software should come with it as it's a gift for my brother for Christmas? I have done tried doing some googling & I think it's imagemixer but I am not sure. If anyone knows what it is & were I can download it or buy a copy of it that would be great?
