Exclamation question on camcorder batteries....

I am wanting to know if there are camcorder batteries that last 3 hours or (possibly) more for using a camcorder for 3 hours continusly without stopping

Re: question on camcorder batteries....

Yes there most definitely are..

I have several which last even longer. " High capacity batteries" !

Their availability depends on the specific camcorder make and model and perhaps ability to use third party batteries

Sonys proprietary "infolithium" technology will often tell you how much you have left.

Using the LCD a little less, (Ie viewfinder more) and avoiding too many start/ stop cycles and frugal use of Zoom will often get you a little more which ever battery you do use

Re: question on camcorder batteries....

In have found that the Sony/Third party M/P series batteries are capable of long recording times of over 3 hrs if the higher capacity versions are bought.
