Analogue or digital??

Digital. In fact it's pretty hard to find a new analogue camcorder these days.

Standard or HD??
Resolution??
Pixels??

These are all more or less the same thing... With your budget, standard resolution. That is 720x576. Any quoting of higher pixel counts only applys to still photos.

Type of recording format, DVD, DV, VHS, Harddrive, SD??

DV tape gives the best value for money, and sub £200 really is the only option.

Viewfinder??

Personally I like a viewfinder; most of the DV models still have one.

other features??

Mic input useful if you may want to add an external mic. DV-input useful if you want to save edited videos back out to DV tape in their full quality. AV-input useful but hard to get these days, certainly no current sub £200 models with it.

Take a look at the Canon MD101.

Note that you are not going to get great quality shooting indoors in low light at this budget level. It would be worth you adding a video light.
