Sony CCD-V100E User guide

Hi everyone,

I have a Sony CCD-V100E, but unfortunately without the user guide.
I haven't used for a long time, but decided to digitize my old tapes.

It started working great, but now I have a sign that appears that blocks me from using the play mode of the camera. I can't even eject the tape.
The sign is like a water drop that blinks.

Does anyone have the user guide or know what this sign mean?

Thanks a lot

Sounds like it is telling you there is condensation. It should clear if the camcorder is in a warm dry place. If it doesn't you could try cleaning the heads.

Thans for your quick answer.
It sounds logical, but why is humidity a problem?
Because it seems to be very sensitive as the place where my camera is placed is not that humid.

Normally you only get that if you bring a camcorder from a very cold place into the warm. And it would clear up in a short time. If it is stuck showing that then something is wrong.

Ok, thanks...

I'll try cleaning the head and I hope it gets better. At least to give me some time to digitize the tapes I have... then I don't care
