JVC GZMG21EH HDD vidcam help required

Hi
I've been asked to try and retrieve video files from the internal drive of a JVC GZMG21EK HDD vidcam that got dropped in the sea. Its now dead, so I need to try and remove the hard drive (JVC and the supplier have refused to honour any warranty so damage does not matter)
Does anyone know where I can download a repair manual for this camera? Or alternatively any clues as to how to get at the drive?

thanks in advance for any advice

You can obtain copies of the manual from Willowvale Electronics on 0121 766 5414.

Thanks for the pointer Hooky, though I feel Rhubarbe may be right in what he says. I'm expecting a lot of corrosion when I get it open

FWIW, why not just buy this one on here:

More or less the same model and he is struggling to get offers around £150 for it.
