Hi, after searching on this, i didn't find much. I was wondering if you could help me out.
I have a JVC GR-AXM341 Camcorder that uses VHS-C tapes. After recording some, and kinda falling away from the VHS format, I'd love to know how to output it into my computer into a video i can edit. I know that VHS is not the best quality, and i will lose some quality in the process, but I'm looking for a way to get these videos on. I would like an external solution, by way of firewire (i have an IEEE 1394 input on my emachines W3400 desktop), or i can use USB 2.0
The last resort i want is to rip open my tower and install a card. My budget is anywhere from around $30 to $70 or $80 USD.
NOTE: My JVC camcorder only has a composite video out, and a left audio channel out.
I'm not a video buff, im just looking for a way to get video on my computer. Thanks.
