Need a camcorder with these functions....

Hi

I am new to this forum and look forward to spending a good few hours (whilst the weather is wet and windy here in UK) amongst the creme de la creme of AV.

I would be very grateful for your help as I need a camcorder that can offer the following functions:-

MiniDV
External mic jack
Headphone Jack
S-Video in/out
3CCD or equivalent
Min 10x optical zoom
Remote control
Manual white balance
Manual focus
Manual exposure
Steady shot
Size not too small
Price circa £300/£450 (new or used)

I looked at the Pan GS320 and 230 but they don't have ext mic jacks. I would consider a good used one. Can you recommend anything suitable with the above functions. I live near MAnchester UK.

Thanks again

Re: Need a camcorder with these functions....

To be honest I dont think they exist anymore... not unless you get a second hand Canon XM2 or Sony VX 2000 or 2100 going for a song ( You may well be lucky)

As it happens It is hard enough finding a MiniDV camcorder at all these days let alone one with any of the manual controls you seek. The market drive is towards HDD or Flash memory models with little by way of manual control
A real shame IMHO...
The more upmarket Semi Pro models costing rather a bit more do sport them though. Also be aware that some single CMOS models are just as good as 3CCD

I would up the budget a bit more and consider looking hard at these models or a well used Panasonic MX 350 or 500 if you can still find them
