Hello I was wondering if anyone knows how I can transfer images from this camcorder which are on the memory card pro duo to my PC?

You can use
The camcorder connected to the PC by its USB ( not firewire) cable
or
Get a Standalone USB card reader capable of taking memory stick and use its adaptor

Neither method requires any drivers and tends to be a simple drag and drop matter
