Unhappy HELP! Video Editing for Sony DVD505E camcorder?

Please, anyone, I desperately need help to find a way of editing from a Sony DVD camcorder.

Using the camcorder to download images to my HD.

I then use the Mpgs to edit my movie using Ulead Video Studio 10.

Timeline is nice and smooth, also if I Save Video File, (Smooth).

But once I burn to disc, the end result is jittery like the old Black and White movies.

Is there an editing programme that will work?

Please help,

Geoff G

If the rendered video file is OK but it goes wrong at the burning to DVD stage then the problem could be with your discs or the burner.

You could try different editing software (e.g. Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum), but I'd also try other discs. You could also create the DVD folders with Ulead but try different software (e.g. Nero) for the burning step.

Thanks Jaymac for your message!

I download movie image from my Sony DVD 505 E Camcorder as per their instruction booklet. Giving me a Folder containing mpgs, which I use in my Ulead Video 10plus editing pack.

Editing is good. Timeline movie is smooth . . .BUT after burning dvds movie is very bitty and juddery.

Any other help or advise greatly appreciated.

Thank, Geoff

Than you, redsox_mark,

I am going to try each of your suggestions in cost order.

I was getting really desperate, I have some holiday movies to complete for the grandchildren.

They keep asking Gramps (Me) when they will be ready to view properly.

Thanks again, I'll be in touch soon, hopefully.

Geoff
