Hi.

I bought a old secondhand JVC GR-Fxm15 Compact VHS Camcorder.

The problem is

It will only film about 10-15 of film footage.

I have even bought 2 new batteries, just in case the old battery is broken
anyway they last as long as the old battery, even thought i have left them on
charge over night, i only get 10-15 of film footage.

Could the Battery Charger be not charging even though the light flashes, and
stays on, indicating the Battery is charged.

Or faulty batteries or the camcorder?

Sounds about right for a VHS-C camcorder, although I'd expect maybe 20-30 mins if you're careful to switch off after each shot and not leave it on like you can with a MiniDV camcorder. In prehistoric times, when portable VHS recorders powered separate cameras (with tubes not chips), you'd be lucky to get 20mins out of a battery the size of a DV palmcorder (them wuz the days !!?)
