Sony PC110. Where do I go from here?

Hi Folks,
I'm new to this site so please bare with me. I am the proud owner of a Sony PC110. There is absolutly nothing wrong with it's performance at all. I've had the camcorder for some years now and the original cost was around £1300.00new. It's been in temperatures of +50 and -40, and underwater filming and it still goes on producing excellant pictures. There are so many new camcorders on the market these days and I am confused to what I should upgrade to.
Can you suggest anything.
Many thanks
Tom

I went from the same cam as you to a Panasonic GS-400 3CCD, but as soon as the HD cams came out I moved to a HC3 which died on me after 1 month and I now have an HC5

Re: Sony PC110. Where do I go from here?

It depends on your budget etc, but agree a HDV cam (like the HC5, or HC7, or Canon HV20) is a good option. I went from a PC9 to a Sony HC1 (now discontinued). I liked the PC9, but the difference in going to HDV was huge.
