| Re: Camcorder DVDs recomendations??
There are double sided and dual layer but the camcorder has to support that
30 min is not the maximum time. It is the maximum time at best quality.
This is possibly because the best quality also uses the most data space.. Since the data space on a DVD disc is fixed, the only way you get more time is by recording at a reduced quality to get more on the disc
You can apparently record 60 mins on these higher (2.8Gb) discs.. or longer if the camcorder has a "long play" feature but ths will be at the cost of quality
Like wise the Standard DVD disc 4.7Gb is meant to take 1 hr of video at best quality, 2 hrs at "standard quality" and longer if the quality is not of paramount importance
Im not sure about Blanks but I tend to stay close to the likes of Verbatim
