Spare battery for sony SR190?

Just purchased an Sr190 camcorder and am very happy with it so far. However since the battery life is only about 60mins I would like to know where I can pick up another spare one...even one that has a longer recording time? I have no idea where to look so I would like some expert help if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Carlo

Your camcorder takes the NP-FH series batteries. It comes with a NP-FH60, there is a NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 which have longer life.

Re: Spare battery for sony SR190?

Hi all. My brother is currently in the States with his work and is picking me up a Sony DCR-SR300 camcorder ($699 off Amazon.com). I want to get a spare battery but I can't find anywhere that sells the NP-FH60 it uses in the uk. Is anyone aware of anywhere that sells it, or even if it is available in the UK yet?

I'm not really interested in the long life NP-FH70 or NP-FH100 as they are physically larger and it's only going to be used for light holiday shooting.

Thanks in advance,

Ric.

Re: Spare battery for sony SR190?

I don't think they sell the FH60 as an accessory. They sell the FH50 (which is 900 MaH, as opposed to 1000 MaH for the FH60).

Genuine one here on Amazon

Thanks.

Re: Spare battery for sony SR190?

Thanks Mark, big help. I think I can live with the 10% less performance then.

Cheers again,

Ric.
