Pinnacle have announced Studio 11

If it has better stability in some systems then earlier versions
It has the advantage of being natively Vista compatible and also the Plus and Ultimate versions support AVCHD
It is also capable of making Mini HD DVD discs from current DVD media

Studios chequered history makes one reluctant to jump for joy but if it delivers what it promises without any problems, it should sell in large nos

Talk about rip off Britain. Studio 11 Ultimate is £89.99 in the UK or $69.99 in the USA from Pinnacles e-store! Check the UK and US web sites. At todays exchange rates it is almost three time more expensive to buy from the UK site. They are not the only ones guilty of these price variations. I recently renewed by Webroot Spy Sweeper subscription via the US site for half the price it costs to do it from the UK site. No wonder they all "Have a nice day".

Its always going to cost more here.. partly because of a perception that people here pay out of resignation to the fact of higher prices.anyway.

But businesses have to make a profit : if the boxes don't shift quickly as a result of customer apathy , the prices will get down to somewhat more realistic levels fairly quickly..." Summer Sale.... Holiday Special " ect. There may be reasonable upgrade optional as well

The Studio 10 plus Bundle was £35 on "sale" at PCW for the weeks leading to and after Christmas. The Ultimate bundle ( with a photo editing app) has always been about £90. Incidentally Adobes Elements Bundle ( Photoshop 5+ Premiere 3 ) is similarly priced

Unless you just must have it, It might make sense to wait for its price to fall
