Mini DV tapes - which brand do you recommend?

I have just bought a new Canon MV930 Mini DV camcorder for my forthcoming holiday. This is my first camcorder, so I was wondering which brand of tapes you would recommend.

I was surprised how cheap the tape so reuseability is not important.

Thanks,
Chris

I'd recommend the Sony Premium tapes, especially from amazon that have them for sale at a great price:-

I'd recommend them to, and at that price I've just bought five packs!

Re: Mini DV tapes - which brand do you recommend?

Thanks for the advice

I went ahead and bought the 10 pack from Amazon and also got a good deal and a 3 pack with head cleaner.

I couldn't find a better deal (inc. postage) on Ebay or any of the sites recommended on previous posts.

Do the Amazon ones come under free delivery over £15 offer?

Yes - you just need to make sure you choose ones direct from amazon.co.uk and not one of the various resellers. (The link in this thread is the correct link to the amazon.co.uk one).

wow, I recently bought a 5 pack from Argos at nearly twice the price of the 10 pack!!

Thanks for the link though as I've now bought 20 to make up for it.
