HV20 UK pricing

I'm seeing prices for the HV20 in the region of £850.... is that the RRP, and can we expect to see some better deals than that?

Wink Re: HV20 UK pricing

Jessops said they'd be selling it for around £1000, but then they never aim to be the most competitive.

Tesco direct have it listed for £850 as you say. I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere except the US of course where its around $1,100 + sales tax which whould probably work out around £680 ! Then you'd have to figure out how to get it to the UK and then there's also import duty. Or if you happened to be going over there, you could pick one up on a and it would partly subsidise your flight !

The UK version does 25p whereas the US version does 24p, the latter arguably imitating film more closely. The US one probably doesn't output PAL for SD, but then many modern TVs over here will accept NTSC.
