It started off with a problem, saying the video transitions and something else files are missing, i fixed that with avisynth and a few other codec packs. Then lets say i import a 1 min video and a song, sometimes when i play it, it doesnt transition and sometimes the audio doesnt play, sometimes it even goes into not responding! 768RAM and no viruses i dont know why ....

Have you tried visiting the Microsoft update page, allow the site to scan your pc for upgrades. It will give you a list of what you need, it may be a non-priority upgrade that you need to install manually. And windows may not have done it.
