Empire direct any good?

Need to order a camcorder today and Empire seem to be only folk with stock at sane price. Are they reliable?

Gordon
I've bought a few things from them over the years, as has my brother, and neither of us ever had any cause for complaint.

Hope that gives you some comfort.

Cheers,

Martin.

Re: Empire direct any good?

Been a few years since the last time I used them but they were fine and I would use them again.

They are fine.
Just pray you dont get to deal with a roookie sales advisor who is unwilling to ask advice from his/ her boss if there is a hitch (but this is the same with every thing else in life , I guess )

Re: Empire direct any good?

Thanks guys. Was looking at getting a Canon MXV460 thingy. Is this any good? Can I do better for less. Not looking to make the next Blair Witch, just need to record some presentations and then edit them along with some generally holiday stuff etc. Presentations may end up online or on DVD.

Re: Empire direct any good?

MXV460 is probably the best value for money in it's price range. You can get away with less (the MV range; e.g. MV890), but the MVX460 will be better.
