Need Help With Womble Mpeg Video Wizard

I'm using the latest version of Womble Mpeg Video Wizard (Dec 2006), but i'm having a problem keeping video and audio in sync.

My clip starts with a 5 second jpeg still followed by the mpeg clip. I then export it as a new mpg clip.
The only re-encoding is done for the jpeg.
Problem is on the finished exported mpg, the audio is starting at the begiining over the still image instead of 5 seconds in when the video starts, resulting in the audio being well out of sync.

I've done numerous clips with jpegs using the above method with the trial version and had no problems, but can't seem to get it right with the full version.

Changing the start & end time on the mpg clip doesn't seem to fix it.
