Sports Mode

Hi I have did a bit of filming of Rugby games and did them in auto mode with My Canon XM2 which gives great results. I was wondering would the sports mode be any better and what advantage would it be. I dont want to try it and then find it has gone wrong. My feeling is it would suit a faster sport like football, I'm I right in think this Any advice would be great Thank you

Re: Sports Mode

Not sure , but if its anything like my digital camera that has a sports mode , It will give you a faster shutter speed . I use this mode on the schools sports day and i get no blurryness. To try it out you could film something fast like a moving car or a flying bird .
Dont forget : to report your findings ..........!

Re: Sports Mode

you could always go and film a practice or a non-important game and see the results yourself?
