Hi All,

I've already got lots of help for some of my questions, but one thing remains unclear to me: how important is a viewfinder?

Some camera's have them, some camera's only have an LCD screen. But what about mid-summer with bright sunlight. Do we then need a viewfinder or can we still see the image clearly on the LCD screen?

The brightness of the LCD displays vary, but yes it can be a problem seeing the screen in bright sun.
Also I find that for handheld shooting I can hold it steadier using the viewfinder, and pulling my arms in close to my body. I find it harder to hold it steady and use the LCD. I would not want to be without a viewfinder.

Same as Mark plus as I wear specs great to be able to remove and use the viewfinder especiallyif its one that pulls out and tilts
