Just downloaded the trial of this software after browsing on here, trying to find something thats easy to use to transfer DV to DVD instead of using WMM.

Just loaded a a short clip up from the camcorder, tried to burn it, but keeps prompting me that the DVD isn't blank....it is.

Any thoughts?

If you don't need its editing abilities

Ulead Movie factory is better for going from DV to DVD with minimal fuss
If you have Nero, you can also edit with VS10, output as mpeg2 then use Nero vision to make a DVD

While this doesn't answer you query directly, it gives you another way to achieve your aim
