i think i am correct thinking NP-F960 batteries from my sony 2100 will fit a FX-7 as well, does any one know for certain.chris

Have you downloaded the FX-7 manual form the Sony site. It will give you a list of compatible batteries.

to be certain i rang sony who told me no but the fx7 specs give the fx7 battery np 770 and 970 i am confused as 960 batteries are not mentioned and the former are modern L series.cheers
