I'm about to buy a cheap microphone around £15.00 or so. I am leaning towards a USB connection.
Most seem to be advertised for Skype and some with headphones. Am I right in saying that these will be ok to use for a voice overlay in Vegas?

I would buy a microphone with a normal jack...unless you have no mic input jack

No usb drivers etc, just enable the mic input in the soundcard input audio control and you are in buisness

Guaranteed to work via the sound card input with no issues

USB connection....may or may not work for a voice over within Vegas
