Hi all

I have a sony hc39e camcorder and wish to put this on to dvd. Which is the best software for this? I did try pinacle studio 9 but it keeps hanging up half way through . Would sony vegas 7 do the trick? I know i can put it on dvd via a normal burner i just wanted to make it look better..

Re: Dv Editing

Your original thread is still valid and you could have simply carried on from there.
Just helps people know what you've previously tried and avoid suggesting it again.
Then you were using Studio 9se and I suggested you try a full version as the se versions could not benefit from update patches and Pinnacle would not let you download them anyway as se versions tend to be OEM software

These forums abound with queries ( a few links below) like this and even without considering Pinnacle Studio you are still spoilt for choice.

To answer your query directly,Vegas 7 ( and its Studio +DVD variants) will do what you want if you have access to it and are able to use it.

This thread has more

Look here for a "shortlist" of sorts.
Premiere elements now has ver 3
Serif MovisPlus5 is mentioned in a recent thread but is only obtainable online

You can get a free 30 day trial of Sony Movie Studio here

http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/pro...=7.0a&Build=52

Takes a bit of getting into but I am getting used to it. I find shouting at the PC screen helps

Hope it helps
