Canon PAL DC100 DVD Camcorder - getting the footage from disc to PC

I have the above mentioned camcorder and have footage on disk. I have tried to download footage to Windows MovieMaker, but when i try to import it, the disk has 'no supported files; on it.

I can watch the footage directly from the camcorder but according to the '' section i can only edit it through the TV and camcorder, there has to be another way, doesn't there?

help!!!!

Peter

Movie Maker doesn't support editing the mpeg files from a DVD.

You need to get some editing software that can.

See this recent thread... which in turn points to an older one.
