What do I need to connect to my computer?

Having just upgraded my PC, I now what to turn my hand to video editting.

I have Panasonic NV-DS55 with an i.link output and my PC has a USB port. I also have Adobe Premier software.

What I need to know is what I need to make the connection for video capture?

Can I just fit a lead direct from the camcorder to the PC or do I need additional hardware/softWare?

Thanks

Mike
