I want to get some old standard 8 and super 8 cine films onto DVD. I have looked back at previous threads circa 2003/5. I believe it is worth playing the cine and copying it yourself? I have my original variable speed projector which is still working fine. Any tips from someone who has been down this road?

i did a bit of my own but it is a difficult job getting the progector to play at the right speed to look any good on video,the white balance needs setting on the projected cini,my own was ok but i sent most of mine away to be done for me with proper equipment i prefered to pay and get good results but you may be happy with what you do good luck.chris
