thinking of getting the new Sony hdr hc3 camcorder
there is another version of this camera the hdr hc3e
just what is the difference between the cameras as the hdr hc3e is around 100 quid extra
my guess is that one of the is UK model the other European
is the specks the same?

The HC3e is the European model (including UK).
If it is a PAL HC3 (without the e) then it is probably a grey import (e.g. from China).
