I was looking through my HC1 box and can't remember if it was supplied with a software CD?

I could of swore it came with some sort of disc? Or I am going mad?!

Did anyone, who bought a HC1, get a software CD in their box?

Nope..
I was told at the Sony Centre I bought mine from " Go to the internet."

I was subsequently told when I went to buy an extra infolithium battery : " No camcorder comes with decent software anyway so Sonys' only doing you a favour"

As it happens the user manual doesnt say any thing about a software CD and in use it doesnt actually seem ( with the HC1) that one is required.
The only software of interest would be " Click to DVD" which it seems is a Sony Viao only software discussed here
