Anyone know the cheapest place to buy this ? Bestcameras.co.uk are selling this for £669.99 inc delivery but still a bit pricey for me !

Alos found it on My Camera's for £630 inc delivery but they ship from Malayasia and seems a risk that you might have to pay UK VAT on top.

That price from Best Cameras is the cheapest I’ve seen in the UK, for UK sourced models. There are several others all around the £670 mark.

As for the one from Malaysia: Price is good… and it’s a SR100 (not a UK model, but actually better as it has AV-in). I looked at that web site, and it says it includes VAT… sort of. If you click on the circle where it says VAT it tells you:

All prices include VAT. Whilst we take care to minimise the likelihood of you having to pay import duties, should UK Customs (through the delivering agent) require payment of VAT, we will reimburse the amount due to the limit of 17.5% of the declared value, within 24 hours of receiving your receipt of VAT payment.

This is common practice with suppliers in Hong Kong and China as well… the way they “minimise the likelihood” is by not being honest with the customs declaration. (I don’t know of any legal ways to avoid VAT). Actually VAT isn’t included; the supplier tries to avoid VAT… if you get caught out they pay you back. Personally I don’t like dealing with companies that use such a practice.. but you have to make your own decision of course.

The price is good though.
