We recently had a break in, and our TRV100 was stolen which was more than adequate to our needs, gave excellent quality for what we wanted, and good nightvision (again something I use frequently). At the time of buying it, it cost us about £1,000.

We need to know what the nearest equivalent is (with no loss of features) so that we can obtain a replacement through our insurers. They are currently suggesting the DCR HC44 which is only a few hundred pounds and doesn't look anywhere near as robust or have as many features.
