Thanks for posting that. Wow, that was quick from the announcement to having a product.

Next I expect we will see HDD based HD cams based on this format.

EDIT: I posted this before I saw fcat's reply.. so there already is a HDD one announced!

my main interest is whether it will do 1080p - not so bothered about 24p but any 1080p would be great

I'm pretty sure it won't be 1080p. Not at that price.
