How do I Xfer my videos from camcorder to PC/ make DVDs?

Hi

I am looking to transfer my Sony DCR-DVD403 to my PC and ultimately make DVD disks of my edited videos. Can anyone help me with the steps involved? If I want to do sound editing as well (record soundtracks to my videos), how do I do it?

You need a video editing programme on your PC - something like Ulead VideoStudio - take the DVD out of your camera - put it in the DVD tray of your PC - import your videos to VideoStudio and away you go. Edit/add titles/add music/edit music/add transitions/overlays/etc. - burn to DVD - also create seperate sound files from your video if thats what you want.
