MPEG editing

I have recorded a program on a standalone dvd recorder. I would like to do some basic editing. Just cutting and fading. Anyone one know of a good peice of software? I have used video redo to cut, but id like to fade the cuts in and out.

Cheers

I'm impressed that you got that far with VideoReDo...I just can't work out its UI....

I use Womble for MPEG editing...

Another vote for Womble. I downloaded both VideoReDo and Womble trials at the same time and I found Womble so much better that I can't really remember much about VideoReDo

Regards
