There's probably lots of programs for converting video [avi's] to SWF nowadays , but a few years ago I used a program called Kibisis [v1.0].It made a good job of the output picture quality but the sound was out of sync .The program had quite a few flash output settings .ie. size ,frame rate, smoothness, picture quality, sound quality ,background colour .Quite easy to use and quick too.The only other one I can recommend is Camstudio .This clever bit of software will capture a window or full screen on your monitor and encode it as a SWF file [or an .avi].I suppose you could play your video on a media player and capture the window .To try it out , I actually captured a zoom in & zoom out on GoogleEarth but saved it as a .avi .I used Sony Vegas to crop the picture and turned it into a DVD.It is awesum , to see a tiny little world zooming into your back garden and back again .Dont know if anyone has tried this or would want to but it was an idea I thought would work and it did.Camstudio is freeware by the way .This is half the fun with software , just experimenting with it and seeing what you can do.
