Sony HD Camcorder Price

Hi All,

My friend is off to Oz in a month and really likes the Sony HD camcorders.

What is the best price for them in the UK and can any members in Oz post the best prices over there?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Steve

Assuming you mean High Definition (not Hard Drive), the Sony HC3 is £765 (and slowly falling) in the UK

Hi,

Yes I did mean High-Def. Thanks for the link. Does anyone know what the difference is between the HC3E and HC1 is and does the HC1 justify a higher price tag?

Thanks,

Steve

HC1 is around £950, but discontinued, so will be getting harder to find.

HC1 has more manual controls, and an external mic input. For most consumers, the HC3 is better value. Picture quality is similar between the 2.
