Onboard recording LANC controlled

I've used a JVC GRDX95 togeather with a bullet camera in the past to record onboard footage from a racing motorcycle, however i feel now a mini d/v recorder with a lanc control would give me a little more control over standby /start recording and stop.
Can anyone sugest a mini d/v recorder,smallish that would do this job...?

Hi, Not really up-to-date on camcorder models right now, but you will need to look at either Canon or Sony for LANC control. Check this site our for the bullet cameras. All need AV IN not DV in to remember! http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/helmet_cameras.htm

Cheapest current Sony with a LANC jack is the HC-94.... price just over £400
